SySDSoft Announces the Availability of its 65 nm PLL IP for 802.11n RFICs
Cairo, July 8, 2010: SySDSoft Inc., a leading supplier of embedded software, digital baseband, and RF/AMS designs announced today the availability of its newest PLL synthesizer IP, SPARK-II. The solution provides RF chip makers with a high- performance PLL block based on 65nm technology and dedicated to WiFi RFICs.
SPARK-II is a dual-VCO Fractional-N PLL synthesizer solution which supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n. With its low rms phase error (0.8° rms) and its low current consumption (12 mA), it is an ideal solution for fast time-to-market designs. The design comprises the complete PLL synthesizer with its integrated loop filter as well as the crystal oscillator, and supports all crystals from 26 MHz to 52 MHz.
“SySDSoft has been a provider of RF blocks and AMS designs for over 6 years”, said Khaled Ismail, CEO of SySDSoft. “Today, we are proud to add this very important building block to our IP portfolio addressing a heavily demanded Standard, namely 802.11n” Khaled Ismail added.
