IPneo’s client framework is an outstanding implementation of the latest IMS/RCS standards targeting end-users terminals. The framework has been designed to grant a generic and flexible architecture allowing both, seamless integration with new IMS services and easy selection of pluggable IMS services based on the customer and market needs. Being highly modular and scalable,  provides a fully customizable framework ready for the development of an unlimited number of IMS applications and services including: PoC, Presence, instant messaging, image share, file share, video share, VoIP, and VCC.

The framework also deliveries a complete GSMA compliant RCS 2.0 engine responsible for providing RCS functionality to the applications.The IMS framework is equipped with an all-inclusive SDK that provides full access to the framework servicesthrough a very well-defined set of API’s. Therefore, several applications can reuse the IMS framework however, if desired, the multiple applications support can be disabled, allowing only a single application to make a single executable.

The framework implements various standardized IMS services such as OMA PoC 1.0 (Push-to-Talk over Cellular), OMA Presence SIMPLE 1.1, OMA Instant Messaging 1.0, OMA XDM 1.1, 3GPP CSICS, VoIP Emergency Call, SMS over IP, VCC and more. It is fully integrated with a multitude of protocol stacks including: SIP, SigComp, RTP, MSRP and XCAP. These stacks are completely encapsulated and they are available for IMS Device Framework external usage.

The framework is also platform independent thanks to the environment adaptation layer which encapsulates all platform dependant functionalities provide easy, fast and hassle-free portability  to the platform of choice. Reference IMS environments are available for a wide range of platforms including Android, iOS 4.0, Windows Mobile, Win32, and Linux. IPneo’s framework has already gone through a number of IOT’s and has proved a superior performance against the major IMS network equipment providers.
