Based on the wide range of experiences within SySDSoft, various teams have
been dedicated to building IP for a range of wireless applications. The
selection of the IP is based on MI&A, with regard to what solutions would be
highly desired by a variety of chipset and ODM companies.
SySDSoft's embedded SW IP team has focused on the design of an innovative
Mobile WiMAX MS and BS implementation. SySDSoft already offers its IP core
for the latest generation of Mobile WiMAX IEEE 802.16-e/WiBro wave
2-compliant MAC implementation for mobile stations, and will release the
basestation version in Q3-2008.
Due to the growing demand for wireless sensor networks (WSN) applications, the SW IP team has developed a ZigBee WSN protocol, covering the Transport, Network and MAC functionalities. The protocol satisfies the key requirements for wireless sensor networks; namely, long battery life, low cost, small footprint, and support of communication between a large number of devices in a multi-application environment.
The RF and AMS IP team has focused on the development of a GPS RFIC.
SySDSoft's 65nm GPS RFIC is an optimzed solution in terms of performance and
power consumption, which is highly desirable for cellular devices and
location-based applications.
